About Us
We first opened for business in the fall of 1992 under the name of Baby Heirlooms. We began in a very small space in
Trolley Square (Salt Lake City, Utah). During those first few years we began selling on the web and eventually needed to open a separate, little warehouse to hold the extra inventory and to ship orders.
In 2001, we moved our retail store to
Highland Place and opened Sundays Child in an adjacent space so we could carry clothing, toys and gifts for older children to better serve the customers that where outgrowing our baby store. We have since found that Sundays Child is a more memorable name and it evokes better what we carry - dress wear, classic gifts and toys - plus it is more flexible so we can move with the trends and carry new and exciting clothing, gifts and toys as well as the heartstring-tugging classic gifts. We will be phasing out the name of Baby Heirlooms over the next few years.
