About Us
Baby Heirlooms opened for business in the fall of 1992, in a very small space in Trolley Square (Salt Lake City, Utah). Five years later, we moved to a storefront in a strip mall next to the old Villa Theater on Highland Drive. During this time we began selling through the Internet as well, making it necessary to have a separate location out of a warehouse where we held Internet inventory and shipped the orders.
In 2001, we moved to Highland Place and opened Sundays Child in an adjacent space so we could carry merchandise for older children and keep the customers that where outgrowing our store a little longer. The mall went through a major remodel the following year and the building we were in was demolished to make way for Wild Oats (now Whole Foods). We moved across the parking lot to the current space and kept it as one space for both stores.
